December is National Drunk and Drugged Driving Prevention Month. In 1982, in an effort to increase community awareness, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed this month a holiday. During December we recommit to practicing safe driving and preventing loss that occurs from reckless driving by reminding the nation to be sober, drug free and safe on the road.
