Power Usage Effectiveness or PUE is a metric used by the hosting industry to measure how effective a datacenter is in terms of its power usage. Ideally, the majority of the power will be consumed by the computing equipment housed inside the datacenter, as opposed to cooling systems or other operational overhead. PUE is one metric where the lower your score is, the better. In our latest infographic, find out how Greenpeace grades global IT brands like IBM, Facebook, and Apple in their Clean Cloud Power Report Card. Also, who has the greenest datacenter, how one can “greenify” a datacenter and more. Feel free to embed and share the infographic. Enjoy!
