There is no flavor or smell quite like that of bacon. Often a staple food at the breakfast or brunch table bacon has carried the burden of a bad reputation for far too long. Bacon has been found to be a good source of Choline, which in pregnant women can boost the intelligence of their unborn child. Studies have also found that eating bacon can actually help in the battle of the bulge as those who ate bacon for breakfast felt fuller longer and retained more lean muscle.
