American discontent with government is at a more than 10-year high, according to a Pew Research Center survey conducted last month. Twenty-six percent of Americans say they’re angry at the federal government, up from 14 percent in March and 12 percent in 1997. What’s eating at them? Gas and food prices, the budget deficit and the jobs crisis just to name a few.
